As a man who regularly writes for the Barratts Shoes blog I often find myself gasping at some of the vertiginous heel heights available in our stylish women’s range. Having a sum total of zero experience of footwear with any type of elevated heel, I often wonder how ladies are able to navigate in some of the more extravagant shoes currently in vogue on the high street and my level of admiration for anyone who can sport these for an elongated period of time is incredibly high.
Yet, it would seem, for many people who are used to these teetering heels, movement is of no worry at all and, having grown used to them, it’s possible not just to be able to negotiate precariously throughout the course of a day but to even, in the case of Girl Groups like these, thrive in them and function with elegance and grace.
As a man, I could never imagine having such skills – looking through some of the higher heels in our collection has made me somewhat dizzy with borderline vertigo. So I put it to you readers – dare you wear some of our highest heels? Click on the images below to take you straight to the product in our online store!
These Truffle Spike Stud Trim Boots are the height of style – in that they are one of the most fashionable items currently available on the high street and that they boast one of the tallest heels conceivable. The concealed platform at the front means the foot is placed at a much more comfortable angle than the heel would suggest but, combined with the studded detail, these shoes are an edgy and street-wise choice for the most on trend, and brave, ladies out there. Currently retailing for £32.
